We are thrilled to add a special Sunday Salon to our regular, quarterly line-up and hope you will join us for this rare opportunity!
When Odin Teatret celebrates its 50th anniversary with a one-time-only performance of CLEAR ENIGMA, Akropolis Performance Lab wants to “be there” — and we invite you to be there with us — too! The performance is being livestreamed. “It will take place after the conclusion of the Festuge, a week of festivities […] in which Odin Teatret, local associations, institutions, and individual citizens ally themselves to theatricalise their community, revitalise its ties and honour its differences.”
We highly value the work of Odin Teatret, with which we share artistic heritage and which has had meaningful impact upon our work, as well.
The viewing will be followed by the same kind of dynamic, vibrant, and intellectual discussion APL has developed a reputation for though our Sunday Salons.
In addition to discussion of CLEAR ENIGMA following the livestream, we will talk about Odin’s work and legacy more broadly, including Barba’s contribution to Grotowski’s work and legacy.

COST: Sunday Salons are free, but we always welcome donations!
FOOD is potluck. Please bring a dish and/or drink to share.
SEATING is ample, but feel free to bring a cushion if you prefer the floor.
LOCATION: A day or two before the event, we will send our address to everyone who has RSVPd.
SCHEDULE
12:00 pm: Arrivals. Mingling and food/drinks.
1:00 – 3:00 pm: Livestream of CLEAR ENIGMA
3:00pm: Discussion begins.
5:00pm: End time is a best guess. Leave when you need to; we allow the discussion to run its course, so we may run longer than 6:00pm.
(Note: Due to the timing of the Livestream from Denmark, this special Sunday Salon is being held much earlier than our regular events.)
CHILDREN
Our 14-year-old daughter will be available to supervise children during the viewing/discussion portion of the Salon. Please let us know via the RSVP link what to expect. Although it’s not a requirement, if you can send a few dollars her way for the work, she would appreciate it!
ACCESSIBILITY: Our location has a lot of stairs for guests to navigate (15 just to enter) and, unfortunately, no current access options to avoid them.
